Yep this is the same @shu09 that called me fa troll for protecting myself and my family. Covid is an extremely scary virus. I will continue to shelter at home until this pandemic is over. Have to wear hazmat suit at least for the first couple months post pandemic life

In all seriousness, the numbers are somewhat overstated, because it’s in a hospitals best interest to code it as COVID, but whether it’s 60 or 80k, it doesn’t matter much.

The scientific study police comes around when you say that X is going to happen because of Y.
I tend to want to understand what is happening in the assumptions that are being used if it is an interesting topic to me.

In this article, they aren't really making a claim that X will happen. They are stating the fact that this virus presents itself in many different ways which is unusual and makes it more difficult to treat.
