May Tweets

who else is reaching out to BW ?
No idea. Not much out there on social media on BWest. Maybe a Nike school per his moms tweet before his transfer decision?

I’m not even sure about Pitts interest at this time since most of the article I linked talked about his interest in Pitt before his original commitment out of HS to SHU. 🤷🏻‍♂️

His health is a concern. Few decent D1 schools are going to take a flyer on a player with his knee issues. If he can prove to them that he is close to 100% and will be able to play quality PT this year then that could change.

Is the door still open for him to return to Seton Hall if he finds the grass is not greener, particularly in light of his knee issues?

Glad to hear JR playing well. His best opportunity to make it is to be the high energy, swiss-army-knife player he was as a Soph and Junior. He's a good rebounder, capable defender, strong FT shooter and has a non-stop motor. The key for Jared besides becoming a consistent 3-point shooter is he needs to embrace being a Dog. He's not going to be a primary scorer. Concentrate hard on his defense, go for every loose ball and rebound and become a consistent 3-point shooter?

Watching the NBA playoffs and most teams have combo-forwards in the 6'5"-6'7" range who specialize in versatile defense, rebounding and ability to shoot 3's from the wing and corner. He has a lot of work to do on his shot.

You can watch the game on YouTube. Very strong all around game. Got accolades for his D. Looked like the most well conditioned athlete on the court and he is really chiseled. Played most of 2nd half and all major minutes down the stretch of a close game. Played under control, only took 9 shots to score his 13 points. 10 rebounds says it all. Only blemish 1/4 on 3s.

Translation

John Morton, author of 35 pts for Seton Hall against Michigan in the 1989 NCAA final, only played 128 NBA games, including 107 for Cleveland, between 89 and 92. His nickname was "Salt", salt, because he bears the same name as the main producing company in the United States.

Don't think that's accurate. Positive that his nickname was Silk.
