OT: Rutgers season is over

Fitting that a former Seton Hall coach is the one to put rutgers out of its misery and end their abysmal season. Honestly, rutgers‘ only significant accomplishment was beating us. We moved on and got better. They proceeded to fall headfirst into The Abyss.

I’m sure it gives Kevin a sliver of pleasure during an otherwise disappointing season.

The pressure on Pike for next season starts now. He built his program on defense and a handful of clutch guards and wings. Beyond that he has no offense.

Rutgers is set up for an even more disappointing season next year. Outside of Cliff Omoruyi (who’s not even a gaurantee to come back) and their guard Williams, they have almost nothing to compliment their highly touted recruiting class.

We’ll see what they can get in the portal, but they are going to be putting an immense amount of pressure on their freshman. And that doesn’t usually end well.

You think the pressure on Willard will be any less? Not likely.
Geez, the discussion is about Rutgers and somebody feels compelled to bring up Willard. Pike has the #2/3 recruiting class coming in and he’s missed the NCAAT two straight years.

Cause Maryland is playing them right now. Only reason Willard was mentioned.

You’re kidding right? The initial post and several after all mention Willard.
