LEXINGTON, KY. - For the ninth year in a row, the Seton Hall women's volleyball team received the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award.

The award, which was initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that maintained at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale or a 4.10 cumulative team GPA on a 5.0 scale.

Nine of the BIG EAST Conference's 11 volleyball programs received the honor recognizing success in the classroom.

In addition to nine straight, it's the 12th time in the last 14 years that Seton Hall has received the honor and the 14th time overall. The Pirates maintained an impressive 3.572 grade point average for the 2022-23 year.
