Seton Hall at Marquette Game Thread

Are we forgetting how Aiken draws cheap fouls all game? We are cool with most of those suspect foul calls but not this one?

Just unbelievable. You cannot expect the refs to bail you out or even get it right but play like the way the team has played these last 2 games this is what happens.

Oh well. Had multiple chances to put them away in second half and could and ended up leaving it in the refs hands.
winder if conference will have any statement probably not cause they spinelessly defend the refs no matter how bad the call is

Why would you put Samuel in on that play? He doesn’t have good hands or fast reaction time?

That was a elbow to the face on Aiken. His hands were straight up! This is BS. Yes, there were things we could have done better, but the refs were homers all game!

The only person who had a worse game than Rhoden was that ref who screwed up the call AND the inbound. Just horrible.

Samuel didn’t even want to catch the inbound. Refs should be banned from officiating. What a disgrace. Refs are pathetic. Defender puts hands straight up, Marquette player jumps forward and elbows Aiken in the face: defensive foul?!?! Unbelievable. The ref that called that should be banned for life. Total disgrace to all officials.

That is one of the worst calls I've ever seen. How in the world does Bryce get elbowed in the face and the foul called on him. Better 2nd half defensively. Turnovers killed them but they put themselves in a position to win the game. And Breeding/co took it away from them.

OK well the blame goes to the Seton Hall players and some to coaching staff. They need to figure out how to use this roster and get this team to play as one unit on offense. Like I said earlier in the thread their minds are racing on offense. Other teams are composed on offensive sets.

19 turnovers reason we lost not the last bad call

The 19 turnovers cost us game. The HORRENDOUS foul call put us in the actual position to lose the game, and the complete boff job false-starting our final play call daggered any lingering hopes of a win. That original play had aiken wide open with momentum towards the basket. After the BS, we had to settle with Samuels with his back to the basket, flat footed.

The officiating was a complete joke. Blowing a call is one thing, it happens. Not even understanding the game situation or the rules is inexcusable IMO.

Refs stole the game. Awful foul call and then they don’t know the rules and expose our play at the end?? Fn terrible!!
Understand that the call was brutal without question. We were trying to get to OT and no guarantee of a win. Big picture question is the play at both DePaul and Marquette. It's way too Aikencentric. Not a knock on Bryce who is playing First Team BigEast at this point.

He's smart enough to get the d up in the air and takes advantage..... those are smart plays... not cheap as you call them
