A FEW ADDITIONAL NOTES REGARDING THIS YEARS BOOSTER CLUB DINNER:

1. Assistant Coach Fred Hill has confirmed that he will speak at the dinner. Jerry Carino is also expected to appear and speak.

2. A special Memorial Award will be presented to the family of Sal Zacchia aka PirateSal on these Boards. Sal, who unexpectedly passed away this year was one of the most loyal Pirate fans, Booster member & PirateCrew Board contributors.

3. A Special guest will be Charles Paikers who is the author of a new book entitled "MADNESS" which is about the 10 best Championship games in Final Four history. Of course the 1989 final between Seton Hall & Michigan is featured in the bool. Joining Charles will be former Pirate Assistant Coach Bruce Hamburger who was on PJ's staff that year. Charles and Bruce will have copies of the book with them for anyone wanting to purchase same and want them autographed.

This will be a special event for all Pirate fans whether they are Booster Club members or not. Try to be there. The Dinner follows the DePaul game that afternoon.
