Shinola X Seton Hall X Onward Setonia

From Mike McBride......

Thank you Dan!

Currently, we have watches, summer shore event, MDF Pirate heads, and the wine glasses out to the public to consider. Thanks for the continued support from the board.

We will have a few more items pop up in the upcoming weeks, including some great/fun gear and events. I will keep you posted for the fans.
Having an open practice with some kind of donation amount I think would be a sell out at Walsh and a good fund raiser .

Resch's Header Goal Gives Pirates a 1-0 Season Opening Win at FIU

MIAMI - Junior Agustin Resch (Arata, Argentina) scored in the 60th minute of Seton Hall men's soccer's season opener at FIU, and the goal held up as the Pirates defeated the Panthers, 1-0, Thursday night at Leyva Family Field.

It's a huge road win for the Pirates against an FIU squad that is coming off back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances and was picked to finish second in the American Athletic Conference.

How It Happened
Early in the second half, Seton Hall got into an aggressive groove, attacking the Panthers with strong ball movement. Junior Virgil Dall'Agnol (Grenoble, France) had back-to-back shots saved by the Panthers keeper in the 55th minute, and eventually the ball landed past the end line for a Seton Hall corner. Dall'Agnol took the kick and swifly nailed it into the box for a waiting Resch, who soared into the sky and headed the ball past FIU's keeper at the top-center part of the goal. The Pirates did a great job from there limiting FIU's offensive opportunities as the Panthers got only one shot on goal in the final 30 minutes.

Inside the Box Score
  • Seton Hall led in shots with 12 and shots on goal with nine to FIU's 10 shots and three shots on goal.
  • Resch and Dall'Agnol accounted for four of Seton Hall's nine shots on goal.
  • Junior goalkeeper Matias Molina (Rosario, Argentina) made three saves in net for his first career clean sheet.
  • Senior Rikard Cederberg (Gothenburg, Sweden), junior Liam Guske (St. John's, Fla.), senior Sam Bjork (Huskvarna, Sweden) and sophomore Jon Vignir Petursson (Selfoss, Iceland) all played 90 minutes on the night.
  • Seton Hall used six substitutes in the match.

Adam Kinzinger was very good on how he explained how trump is not a real Republican nor a true conservative . On Fox they did not even show the speech but rather had talking heads babbling about something else. Did not mention his speech at all AND how about trump saying last night he would cut all energy costs in half including gas . Wow what is he drinking or smoking . The more he talks the more he buries himself. Who is advising him Hannibal Lecter.

trump is having an absolute meltdown on social media. and not about economics or inflation. guy is unhinged. everyone knows it. thats not a president people want anymore.
Then she should win in a landslide. But it’s not going to be a landslide. It’s going to come down a few thousand votes in about 6 different states. So there’s quite a few out there that must want him to be president.

You talked like this in a similar fashion about Joe and then he went up in smoke after a debate. Could you be 2 for 2?

Harris

nah this plenty of people with their Killer Kamala signs outside. Right now this is all fluff. When those people protest more aggressively, when she has to talk economics and inflation, when she has to talk border, etc on her own, not something scripted, let me know. That day is coming.

Naturally this is bull:

how is this relevant to the above? it seems exactly like typical trumper brushing this off. this is a real case of another person who worked closely with trump that hates him.

It was a pep rally and pretty darn good one. Nobody ever won anything on a good pep rally. She’s looney with policies. Taxes on unrealized gains??? Obama couldn’t beat Trump with that policy. It’s amazing how well she talked like she can’t do her policies until day 1 of her presidency. It’s also nice to say Israel has a right to defend itself and what happened in Gaza shouldn’t be happening and playing both sides of the fence, but when a real decision has to be made what will she do. There likely wont be a ceasefire soon and they’ll have do something very soon and whose side will they take?

If it came down to a pep rally she’d be in good shape, but her ideas are pretty horrible.
this pill is feeling prettttty big isnt it

Gave a good speech and looked presidential. The Trump team definitely did not like what they saw tonight. They've officially got a problem now.
yea it was actually pretty good in terms of how speeches go. democrats were put in a time warp back to obama.

regardless of her speech i think people are just over trump. and trump has done precisely nothing to win anybody's favor. asleep at the wheel.

She was great last night. The opening of her speech about her family background was terrific. She then pounded against Trump’s stances and offered a better alternative to the future. She commanded the stage and was hopeful without looking silly.

No matter what this race will be tight. But. She already cut into Trump’s lead dramatucally to essentially a tie. and I expect a bounce out of this convention.

She and her team have done a very good launch of controlling the message and gaining momentum. September 10 may be another inflection point. She doesn’t need to hit a home run. Trump pissed away all his good will one week after the assassination attempt.

If nothing significant changes (which is still quite possible) she will win.
