The Vice Plagiarizer

The family attorney who spoke to The Atlantic says The Atlantic outright lied about the conversation with her.

If it's a he said-she said issue how can there be a bottom line? We know that The Atlantic, and more specifically editor-in-chief and writer of this article Jeffery Goldberg, has lied before.

What specifically is he lying about here? Did she not send the White House a bill? If she did send it, was it paid or unpaid? It should be pretty simple for her to pinpoint the lie(s), but she doesn't say.

Don't you think it's weird that she won't say what specifically he lied about? I'd like to think she would want to correct the record. As the attorney for the family, I think she's doing them a disservice by not correcting the record.

I don't like Jeffrey Goldberg either but this is weak sauce. If she really didn't say this stuff to him, she should at least be able to point out what specifically he misrepresented or "outright LIED" about.

The rest of her statement is just Trump hagiography and whining about the "timing" of the story. I wonder why she felt the need to attempt to do damage control with this non-denial denial.

RIP Teri Garr

Damn. I had just revisited Mr. Mom and Close Encounters of the Third Kind within the past two weeks, and I found myself wondering about her health. She was always entertaining to watch, with natural and note perfect comic timing. I think she had more range than she was given credit for. Look at the list of classics she was in. Not a bad legacy. R.I.P.

SHU vs Maryland - Scrimmage

Is he in his 8th year?
5th And he's only a junior eligibility wise. I loved his toughness and wanted him to stay because add his toughness and being 24 or 25 going against 18 year olds doesn't hurt. Not really sure we went out and got a back up who anyone can say he was way better than Long the last 2 years.

2020-21 Covid year didn't count.
2021-22 Injured - red shirt
2022-23 Year 1 of eligibility
2023-24 Year 2 of eligibility
2024-25 Year 3 of eligibility
2025-26 Year 4 of eligibility

Sure, they both trash each other but while Trump has been relentless on illegal immigration, the economy and crime, the Harris messaging has fallen short or been nonexistent.

Its not like we are getting clear policy positions and less attacking from one side though. Trump's messaging is just that everything is crap now and he will make it all better than it has ever been before, and Kamala is a Marxist, Communist fascist etc.

I don't like Harris and think she is running a bad campaign but looking at Trump and thinking the rhetoric from him is better?

Left Coast Pirates - Season Preview

I believe one of the rumors we stated was $500k or more.

Probably most likely somewhere between that and the $900k stated by his agent.

Either way, I just don’t see us being able to afford two players like Davis and Richmond and having anything left to field a competent roster.

Letting Sha bring in a bunch of guys with something to prove at a discounted rate and having faith that he can mold them into his image defensively is really the only viable plan at this point.

I don’t believe it’s impossible to put a team on the court that will fight and claw on that end of the floor. I think we all are curious and have doubt that you can also find enough offense with this strategy.
Getting two years out of our good players should be the new goal.

Top 100 players in the country

78. Dre Davis

Ole Miss Rebels | G | Senior

With the score tied at 77 in what felt like a home game for Indiana State at Hinkle Fieldhouse in the NIT championship last season.

the former Xavier star scored the game-winning layup, punctuating an 18-point effort.

These guys are on point. You can totally trust them.
Wait, I thought Dre Davis played for Duke?

the story about him complaining about paying for the military funeral of the Hispanic female soldier which has been debunked by her family.
What part of the Vanessa Guillén story was debunked? Just because the family spoke out about it, criticized the politicization of her death, and the sister went so far as to say that Trump showed them nothing but respect and she voted for him - none of that makes the story not true.

The family attorney who spoke to The Atlantic confirmed she sent the White House a bill and they never paid it! Sure seems to line up with the account laid out in the Atlantic piece.

Mark Meadows denied the whole thing, because of course he's going to deny that story whether it happened or not. Same thing goes for Kash Patel, who was and is a Trump loyalist.

It's a he said-she said issue, but the bottom line is he offered to pay the bill, they sent him a bill, and he didn't pay it. What should we conclude from this?

Schiano 9-22 in the Big Ten since his return, RU in 17th place!

RU doesn't have to play any of the top 6 teams in the Big Ten this season, yet they're just 4-4. Do you think it will hurt their NIL fundraising if they finish under .500 and miss a bowl game?
*1-4 if you're just talking Big Ten, where they will certainly finish well below .500. The other wins were against Howard and Akron, which are two of the weakest teams they could've possibly scheduled, and the narrowest of escapes against a Virginia Tech team that had yet to find its footing. That game will, in all likelihood, be their best win of the season. Only Illinois gives them the opportunity to improve upon it.
