•After losing to Fordham 57-56 yesterday, Seton Hall is now projected to finish the regular season 12-17 (7-13 Big East).
•The odds that the Pirates make the NCAA tournament are down to 7%, a decrease of 8% since yesterday.
•We currently rank Seton Hall as the #107 team in the country, and the #9 team in the Big East.
•Next game: Wed, Nov 13 vs. #150 Hofstra. Our power ratings give the Pirates a 63% chance to win.

The GM has not been bad. This years draft class has received high praise from around the league. The trade and then signing for Brian Burns has been terrific as he’s a stud.

Daboll knows he’s extremely limited with Jones. That’s the major issue at this point. In years past they had a roster with little talent. The giants are solid everywhere but CB and TE and maybe OL depth but there’s plenty of talent

I was a big defender of Daniel Jones but he has sadly regressed since winning the playoff game. It was a gamble at the time but as of now he is a complete shell that doesn’t have the ability to win. He’ll be gone next year and then we’ll see how it goes.

Feel your pain, team needs QB change after the break and it needs to be Devito. Had a good friend tell me Jones was a mistake years ago and I did not believe it. He knew one of DJ’s coaches from college who said he makes bad decisions. Guy has lost all his confidence. Run the dam ball early in the games and take our chances with Devito. Still believe in our coach but we need a fiery leader with everything to prove.

A point guard has to have teammates that can score the ball. Who does he have on this roster who can shoot and score or get open to take a shot once they have the ball? Dribble drive to the hoop and dunk or stop and pop? I did not see any of this.

The other problem which is bigger is we do not have a rim protector. Fordham somehow had one. If we don't have a rim protector we are done for. Maybe the 7 footer plus on the bench can at least block shots and rebound? If he can't do that why is he here? We desperately need that.

As if the Hall debacle wasn't enough, The G Men made it weekend of depression. I am a 60 year plus fan and the last decade makes the awful late 60's and 70's look appealing. At least those teams scored points (and gave them up in boatloads). These Giant teams are the worst combination - bad and boring. What was once appt viewing is now an afterthought. Played pickleball in the am but came home and turned on the telly to watch the inevitable. Jones is awful. Question if Daboll is the guy. Joe S has whiffed on too many draft picks. Not a lot to get excited about. Although I hate anything related to tanking, it might be the year to do so. Mara is out of touch. We're a laughing stock. The season can't end soon enough. I feel better after the rant.

Not the first or last time we will lose a non conference game. Things are going to be ugly for awhile, wake me up in January when they are passing the ball. We have a full roster of guys looking for playing time, guys are pressing to do well right now to find their roles. I’m thinking Wusu needs to come off the bench and not start. Wusu is a dribbler and not a passer and sets the wrong tone. Chemistry is wrong but Sha will figure it out.

For real. I'm sure Dual wants to get to the next level, but apart from a few highlights there is very little the suggest he is even close. Some of these other things are really concerning if his shot is not falling. 1 Rebound in 2 games as a 6'5 guard is absolutely terrible. a 6-5 assist/turnover ratio is terrible against extremely low competition.
