Americans now are in George Orwell's 1984

I think there are some that will just think whatever he is doing is the right thing.

If he came out a couple weeks ago and called Putin a thug and a dictator, they'd be praising his hard approach as just being tough and a masterful negotiator.
I don’t think it’s so much about doing the right thing as much as doing something. We can just keep giving them money but they are still losing. Money is going to escalate this into something much bigger in my opinion. What’s your end game? How many more billions do we give them when we are 37 Trillion in debt.

Americans now are in George Orwell's 1984

Trump says a lot of stuff publicly, some of it which is provocative and some that makes no sense on the surface. Once again, what is going on behind the scenes as much more important. I know we both really don’t know the entire picture.

Two things can be true about China. Yes, we are dependent on each other to some degree and that’s a good thing. But don’t be naïve. Their military dwarfs ours and they are a technological threat and have the ability to grind our economy to a halt, which would be devastating. You don’t want to be in a position to potentially lose a war on two fronts because you’re weak on both. If you want to get a sense of that, read the book. “Chip Wars”. If they put a blockade around Taiwan, they would shut us down without firing a shot.

Russia on the other hand poses essentially no threat to the US
After today's disgraceful display by JD and Trump with Zelensky, you really think Trump is a master negotiator? No, all they wanted Zelensky to do was for him to grovel at their feet. What an embarrassment for the country.

Americans now are in George Orwell's 1984

The US just voted at the UN with Russia and against a resolution condemning Russian aggression invading Ukraine. Trump and his ilk are spinning lies that Ukraine started the war and Zelensky is a dictator but will not call Putin that. What have we become as a country?

Look what the new German chancellor said, it likely the US will not protect and back Europe. We are backing a thug in Putin who murders political opponents and reporters. Trump wraps himself in the flag and talks about freedom yet he backs a murderous dictator on the world stage. This is a sickening development.

Tell us you've never read the book or at least understood it without telling us. My goodness.

Biden had a direct censorship line with Facebook , Twitter , etc to shutdown memes and any dissent of the government directives.
Biden had 52 intelligence agents swear that the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian Psyops. Anyone who said otherwise was banned on social media. Same went for anyone who stated that Covid was a lab leak.
Biden's handlers had a media team gas light anybody who though he wasnn't sharp as a tack until the debate when they couldn't cover for him.
Telling Americans that Trump was colluding with Russia for years.

All right out of Orwell. Did you forget that.

That was Orwellian. Not calling someone a dictator. FFS!

You must have missed it. He did that last game. And as virtually every coach knows, they blew their load in the first half and had no legs left in the 2nd half, hence blowing the big lead. Deep down, I think he did it to show this board that it’s a terrible strategy.

Middleton in street clothes

That was probably the year Willard had to burn Aaron Geriampoor's redshirt due to a bunch of injuries to the front court.

And know that Aaron was furious at Willard. No way did he want to burn that year.

He told me that in person at the end of the season.
Aaron was a young freshman and really could have benefited from that additional year. He was very overmatched physically.

He wouldn't have been a 10 and 10 guy as a fifth-year senior but he was starting to show the ability of being a solid rotation piece his last year here.

Pirates Host DePaul on Senior Night, Thursday

They didn't say. With UConn in the mix it becomes impossible to win the Conference Tourney. Although completely different, the Ladies like the Men from last year could be left out with 13 conference wins. The Men did have some quality wins.
Unfortunately for Seton Hall, the Big East is much closer to a mid-major than a power conference in Women's Basketball.

Six of the 11 teams in the conference have NETs above 100. Those are wins that don't do a lot for a resume. Likewise, with the exception of the USC and LSU games, the OOC was very weak -- more empty wins.

Beyond that, our best wins -- against Marquette and Villanova -- are teams whose NET is around 60, and our best OOC win is over a mediocre Cincinnati team that has fallen into the 80s in the NET.
