My read is that the first team includes six players.

This board loves Shaheen, but not much from the BE coaches.
We always do well coming from off the pace. Willard was a master of this, too.

No disrespect for Kalkbrenner, but at the very least he and Karaban should be co COY.

The absolute worst they will finish is 7th. You can mark it down.
I will have them 5th or 6th once we all make predictions.

Maybe you can make an argument for 8th based on Sha’s coaching ability alone, but it’s very difficult to make a rational argument to have them higher than 8th or 9th in my opinion.

The entire team is unproven. A few high ceiling guys but still unproven.

Sorry, unless Rutgers goes out and get Nick Saban, the coach will make little difference when RU is paying 20% of what tOSU, PSU, Michigan, USC, and Oregon are paying players. It amazes me people think he's not a big time coach but he'll easily get picked up as a defensive coordinator at a place like tOSU or a guy like Belichek was taking him as DC. What does the Belichek guy know anyway? It seems he's respected by other coaches when he's looking for employment. I think most people in the football world understand he's not losing because of X's and O's, he's losing because other teams are paying more for Jimmy's and Joe's.

I fear we here at Seton Hall are in the same situation with a solid coach who has to find a way to win without being able to compete financially with the big boys. We're picked 10th and I guarantee it's not because we have the 10th best coach in the league more likley because we have the 10th best budget.

Yeah, that's a better criticism. No one is accusing her of being a thought leader.
She's an unimpressive politician who hasn't really shown she can speak thoughtfully or intelligently on most issues.
If she were running against anyone else, that would be more evident.

Already are Silk in talking to them this past Monday.

At the Beefsteak Sha in his own particular style trashed those that had already predicted the demise of his current team. He confidently with a gleam in his eye basically said see me in March.

BTW. the Pirates trashed Quinnipiac this weekend behind closed doors with Jenkins dominating.
