They were not ranked this week in the ap poll, though receiving votes...coaches poll they were 24 but that poll is not recognized by the mediaUConn will likely take a hit in the rankings and could drop out of the top 25..
Holiday weekend- kids go skiing, home, etc.it has been discussed other threads, but really, where are the students.
Over the course of a four-year college experience, there are only 40 Big East home games. With the number of students that both live on campus and in the area, it’s a lifetime experience to go to those games. I’m not certain if it’s cost or transportation or like this year, obviously lack of interest. there should be at least several hundred at every game.
To me, this is just symbolic of poor planning and execution by athletic administration. Doing things the old way is just not a recipe for success moving forward. With a couple home games left, hopefully they put some creativity into the thought process and get the students at the games.
Agreed. Such a quick turnaround on the road at Marquette howeverIf they can win another couple of games it could also increase the SHU fan turnout at The BigEast Tournament. Let's see if the UConn win creates an upswing in play. At minimum we can now look forward to the remaining games.

The season started miserably with Fordham, Hofstra, and arguably one of our worst home losses even in the drubbing freaking Monmouth gave us. In the BE we were a 1-12 team. Good Lord. Yeah, you're going to get like 2-3k when you're like this.
Was glad at least we had a game were the fans showed and the place felt like the last 10 years again. Nice. Another reminder of what this Administration robbed Sha and us of this year. Gross.
They are 1-7 with an average margin of defeat since the St John’s game of 17.5 points. Sure he could continue to improve but without a huge leap you’re looking at the bottom of the league again Next year. There’s also a degree of padding those stats by playing in games where you are getting your doors blown off.Dual stats since St John's game:

He is a young sophomore.
Yes, I want him back and I want to make him the centerpiece centerpiece of the retention plan with Godswill, Coleman and Dual.

Hopefully, this game brings the students back a bit. Students should be a constant.
