Harris campaign making a mistake?

Yeah, I think there will be a shift this year with certain groups but she is doing better with women than Biden did, so it really depends if she can get them to turn out.

The Jewish vote in PA isn’t unimportant but I’d tend to think that any movement towards Trump there would be made up by Ukrainian and Polish people in PA.

At the end of the day I think if there is a similar gender gap in turnout as there was in 2020, Harris will likely win. If more men show up and less women and the gap closes, then Trump will win.

Harris absolutely should go on Rogan btw. Really weak of her if she doesn’t.
PA. Is going to be close.

Harris campaign making a mistake?

How about Trump dodging her to a debate on FOX. Out of his comfort zone !!! All his events will be his same old rhetoric and talking in circles .
Cannot argue your point, I think he comes off most of the time very bad in debates. I still think he should have taken the debate. He comes off almost normal when interviewed. Much more likable in interviews. Example Doctor Phil. I bet he does great on Joe Rogan. Harris needs to let people get to know her, comes off as a phony. She doesn’t appear comfortable in her own skin. She seems afraid to make a mistake.

I must be missing something with Karaban. I don't even think he is first team big east player. Maybe based on all the talent on UCONN, i have overlooked him, but i don't see it.
Don’t see it either. I honestly don’t love this UConn team, although it’s hard to bet against their coaching staff. Crazy that none of the assistants moved on to a head gig.

2024-25 Big East Coaches Poll

I’m lower on Marquette, UConn and Creighton. I’m higher on SJU, Xavier and SHU.

Some bold takes from me:

1. Seton Hall will finish 5th or better
2. Xavier or St. John’s will win the league
3. Deivon Smith will be conference POY
4. UConn will finish 5th or worse
5. DePaul will win 6 or more league games
6. Georgetown will finish DFL (not a bold take, I guess)

Harris campaign making a mistake?

A few percentage points here a few more over there and this race will be over. Losing points with Jewish voters, black and Latino men, union workers. Trump going to do a 3 hour interview this Friday with Joe Rogan. Talk about a demographic KH needs to get her message out too, he invited her and has 17 million listeners. Lots of those 17 million voters are men under 45. She turned it down, can you imagine the damage she would do in a 3 hour interview with some one calling her out when she doesn’t answer the question. She probably would request breaks to make 3 hours and not sure she even has a message to get out there to Joe Rogan’s audience.

This board loves Shaheen, but not much from the BE coaches.
We always do well coming from off the pace. Willard was a master of this, too.

No disrespect for Kalkbrenner, but at the very least he and Karaban should be co COY.

I wonder if Richmond will be first-team at season's end? I bet he is not.

It’s all a crapshoot. What teams are proven at this point? Some look better on paper but chemistry is definitely a factor. I like our chances to finish in the top 5 mainly due the Sha.
This.

Wow. Maybe Sha rubs people the wrong way and they’re sticking it to him? No way his coaching should get this level of disrespect
I don’t think it’s that deep but idk. I think they just go surface level really don’t dig. We don’t market, no hype, we don’t even open a practice to the media, we don’t get on radars, our coach isn’t promoting exhibitions nor are they televised, we lose top players every year to the portal and replace them with mid major guys or power conf back-ups, we’re a perpetual afterthought. Sha likes this approach; wants to be in the weeds.

It’s who we are. But it’s also great when we outperform this and have the poll dragged up every game as a talking point when we get into NCAAT contention. 👏👍
