There is always a risk, but I agree that trying to protect her has backfired. I know what you mean by keeping the conversation moving.

Not sure if you listened to the Trump interview, but as you can imagine, he went off on tangents and Rogan did a really nice job of steering the conversation back to the original question that he had.

Trump is Trump, but a number of his stories seemed pretty genuine. I normally can’t listen to him for more than 30 seconds but the two hours thus far has been a decent listen, so kudos to Rogan.

I think it’s a good strategy by Harris. 3 hours of real human interaction is not her strength. 3 hours gives too much time for follow up responses from Rogan which would turn into word salad after word salad. Being authentic and genuine matter here and there’s no way she has 3 hours of rehearsed material. Good strategic move. When you look at the potential of her walking out of Rogan with a win here for her campaign it can’t be more than 10% and the potential for her to come off as fake and weak is probably higher than that.

I agree with that, just pointing out the double standard (and it comes from both sides) that when their guy says something out of line it's no big deal but when the other guy does everyone's clutching their pearls.

Sorry when you’re talking and using an apostrophe s it’s always followed by a noun. That’s realistic. That’s simple English. His supporter’s joke, his supporter’s car, his supporter’s book, his supporter’s hat. After he said supporters he paused.

As for the plural. That’s just wrong the his is a singular person Trump. That’s been his focus for 6 years. Trump supporters. Trumps’s demonization. For 6 years he’s been saying Trump’s demonization.

Literally you’re saying Harris is doing a disservice to the country letting him continue the next 10 weeks.

The comedian, that guy, that guy who made the joke, a thousand other words not supporters. If I was going to give him plausible out I would say he was talking about the 20k in the arena, but it came off as 75 million. Instead they went a different direction that kills that idea and any independent who hears the clip will say he that’s not what he said.

He made a mistake and a bigger mistake trying to cover it up. We live in a world where people focus on 30 second clips. It’s pretty darn clear what he said and anyone who listens to the clip will know he called trump supporters garbage. Otherwise he would have just said the comedian is a garbage comedian.
