Willard is a politician who left SHU at the right time.He has a $10M sugar daddy in Kevin Plank an alum and founder of Under Armor. He is doing a good job at rebuilding the Maryland program.
Amongst Willards biggest issues at Seton Hall was recruiting. Outside of that one class, most of his classes underwhelmed. Now money runs recruiting not selling the program as much, which offsets Willard's biggest weakness: closing the deal with a recruit.

Game Thread: Seton Hall vs. Georgetown

plus...sorber is real good. and he is staying out of foul trouble. it was like something lit a fuse in him to hit the boards.
Nice to see GWE compete on the glass today.

Yalden and his antics are still ridiculous at times, but he does set some good screens. Our guards just do a poor job of using them.

Coleman hitting some really challenging shots today. Good for him. Cooley had Epps on him for stretches in the first half, which I didn't understand at all. Now its Peavey.

Shaheen has said he needs 5 million so 4 million is 20% less than what he needs. Support has to greatly increase both financially and from the administration. An administration that refuses to acknowledge that they f’ed this up from the start and continue to f this up will help no one and just harm the university in more ways than one!
Where has he said he needs $5 million per year?

That’s got to be at least a $4 million number to be considered average.

No kidding but you also then have no way of knowing how his career here would have gone. How could you?
sure. he could have sucked at shu for 6 yrs, got fired and then hired by a fb school. Most of our unsuccessful hc dusted themselves off and thrived...

i am a kw fan and his time here was steller. both on and off the court. for me in my lifetime he is next after PJ.

The big east basketball league is not acc or sec...where there is much more media and scrutiny for underachieving...
SHU hoops minus carino and zagoria are next best covered by jaden daly...this screams soft and weak...not having a full strength rotation has been the cause of the margin of loss in conference games...but the makeup of this roster was poorly designed...who ultimately decided nil for the product of players?
