No, 0-19 or 4-16 makes no difference. There’s no moral victories, no growing from a few meaningless wins

Even if we did manage to win a few more games most of these players will not be here next year so there’s no momentum to gain from it. Next year will have absolutely nothing to do with this year.

I would like the staff to focus less on athletic high ceiling guys who may put it together and more on high IQ, high effort guys who have shown results.

Example not give 300k to a lazy apathetic point guard who has the raw skills of an NBA Prospect

INSTEAD

Give 75k to a few high IQ midwestern kids from low D1 programs who have proven they play hard and smart and put up results allbeit it maybe vs inferior competition

I would do the same thing though if I was in competition against an obviously overmatched coach who has no media savvy and obviously can't generate any NIL.... HE is doing THE BEST JOB possible Seton Hall would be crazy to get rid of him he is such a great coach!!

It would be absolute fools gold, the team is void of BE talent, it sucks but at this point going 1-19 or 4-16 isn’t really much different. They can’t compete at the highest levels of BE competition to have a shot at the NCAA tournament. Anything less than that is not acceptable to the fan base.

So we can come up with all the minor in game tinkering we want. It takes high level talent to win games over a grueling 20 game conference schedule. Reality is you need a combination of coach and $$$ to achieve success.

Someone on Hall Line called up after the game and mentioned the transfer out of EHE and how nice he would look on our team this year. He’s right. Wasn’t it that Sha couldn’t guarantee him the starting job and he transferred to JMU? He would be our best big BY FAR on this roster and he wasn’t exactly the most polished big man we’ve ever seen. Sha doing Sha things.

There’s no way in a metrics driven league that they can support our ineptitude. DePaul and Georgetown contributed to costing us a bid last year, along with the many blowout losses and bad OOC results. Those 4 wins did more harm than good. The other league members need better from us. God forbid one of them loses to us this year, it’ll tank their resume.

This season has been cooked since December. Shaheen’s “my teams always get better” remarks never materialized. We are actually getting worse.

In prior years, we’d be hopeful about the development of Coleman and to a lesser extent Scotty and Felton. But it’s hard to shake the concern that Coleman will leave for money, along with anyone else who kills it over the last two months.

Pretty bleak times for Seton Hall.

No it's because people have lost faith in the intuitions, the media, and everything else they should have faith in. People who hate Trump were against it.

The thugs shouldn't have been pardoned and the thugs in Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, etc should have been put in jail. For a guy who says didn't hear you complain about Menendez, you sure as hell didn't complain about those other cities getting attacked by thugs.
