That’s the stubhub price to get into the building tomorrow night. $8 to sit mid court and have lounge access with the food and drinks. That’s a bargain for a night out.

This might be rock bottom.

I can't believe how quickly our school has been blown off the map. It's stunning.

No talent on the floor. Coach screaming at players who look checked out. Nobody going to games, no student interest. No communication from Athletic department.

President and BORs involved in lawsuits, cover up of sex abuse, embezzlement, etc.

Who can lead us out of these nightmares?

Who would want to lead us?

Yes - it is really hard to believe. Nonetheless, if we get better players for next year and play better basketball, the fans will show up again and so will the students. The support has really been good for the last 10 years.

It is very difficult to convince people to go to games where SHU is down 10 immediately, and never leads the whole game. It is just unfathomable how little we have led in Big East games. In addition, when you lose to Fordham and Hofstra to start the season, people check out early because there is no shot of making the tournament after those losses.

The issue is to get better players, now you have to convince people to give. It's not like we're 10% short on money and an extra $250,000 is going to make the difference. Obviously the hope is revenue share makes a difference, but the bigger issue is how do you convince anyone that gave 5 figures or more to keep giving when we could've had the same results without giving. The people that gave this year would've been better off going to AC and putting it all on a number at the roulette table for 1 spin. They lose it's gone in an instant. This year it's been 3 months on continuous agony watching what they paid for. And there's more to come.

I know we've had some bad luck injury wise but what's worse is when the injury bug hits in winnable games. If we lose to UConn by 30 or 40 because guys are hurt, nobody is going to remember it as anything other than a lopsided loss. But to be able to get 4-5 wins is a lot better than 1 win because we're missing guys vs PC, Depaul, and Butler.

That's just the thing. There is always a shot to make the ncaa tournament. It's called winning the big east tournament.

Impossible odds maybe but a shot.

impossible odds is right. If the current standings hold, and there are no upsets other than SHU games here is the path:

Villanova 9:30pm Wednesday
Marquette 9:00pm Thursday
Creighton 9:00pm Friday (looks like the Friday games are an hour later than they've always been)
St Johns 6:30pm Saturday

All 4 of whom seem to be playing a different sport than whatever SHU is currently doing a couple times a week.

You assume none of those teams can lose.

We probably have not led for more than 4 minutes in the 2nd half of all big east games, yet we will win 4 in a row. The way we are playing, if we didn't lose the first game by 15 points or more, i would be surprised.

Also the style of play ( if there is a style of play) is boring and almost not watchable - holding ball in half Court corner or passing side to side on O and then wating till the 10 minute mark to press cause of double digit deficit does not attract Fans

It's easy to rebound from one bad season. Fans tend to come back pretty enthusiastically. Repeated bad seasons? Not so much. The school needs to do whatever it takes to be competitive in NIL for next season. JMO

I would hate to lose any game, but winning 1 or two "may" be better than winning 5? We have to bottom out.

Hey, I've got an idea-how about inviting the Butler players to the $8 Lounge gig, maybe they go a little too far[hopefully]?
