2 Atlanta PD Officers done after this

I wonder why people are protesting?
POS that happen to be wearing a uniform are still POS and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. A 3rd degree murder charge is an embarrassment for the public execution of George Floyd.

Sorry, I know you lefties think cops are so bad, yet would be dialing them as soon as needed. These riots across the country have exposed a much large problem. There are many people who will never contribute to a productive society and are happy to become violent, which is a national security issue.

Bobbie up at 232 AM again, well we know who doesn't work. Really bothers me that every paycheck I have goes to support this leech.

Shit I was up until 4 am and I’m sure I pay more taxes then you do.

but that’s what we do in this nation of someone is out of work they get unemployment and yes we all help cover that.

Non violence prostesters are well intended and overwhelmingly peaceful, looters are ruining the moment and blending in on this.

Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe.

Agree with this quote. What has happened in Minneapolis (which has had numerous policing issues) and what has been done to fix this? Shouldn't we be looking to leadership and holding them accountable?

I have no issue with non violent protests, I've states this many times. These riots are taking place in every single city, it's not just a single instance, it is very widespread.

I am glad you are rich Jcalz, I know you've told us many times. I don't care to support people who disparage police all day and night, while most likely not attempting to be a productive part of society. I fully support funding unemployment programs that cover people after layoffs.

He and a few others always have to remind the board how much money they make LOL.

I’m so lost here you are the one who
Brought up your paycheck and how it’s covering others (leaching).

If you don’t want to be reminded then don’t try and put someone else down using the same tactic.

A 3rd degree murder charge is an embarrassment for the public execution of George Floyd.

It's likely the right charging call.

His actions caused the death. The big question is whether there was intent and if it can be proved.

The trouble is most people will not be able to separate their emotions.

The fact that he was speaking ("I can't breath") means he was breathing. The defense will use that to support lack of intent.

The defense will parse the Minneapolis PD's choke hold policy. It's on line and if you read it objectively, there is plenty room to interpret his actions as conforming to policy. It's a poorly written policy.

"The Unconscious Neck Restraint shall only be applied in the following circumstances: (04/16/12)
  1. On a subject who is exhibiting active aggression, or;
  2. For life saving purposes, or;
  3. On a subject who is exhibiting active resistance in order to gain control of the subject; and if lesser attempts at control have been or would likely be ineffective."
I am not saying I agree with the policy and certainly not defending the cop's actions.

IMO "in order to gain control "is too vague. The guy was handcuffed but because he was still "exhibiting active resistance" (the repeated falling down) the defense will say the cop believed he did not have control and therefore proceeded to gain control according to policy.

We can expect the trial will be closely watched.

As I understand logic used by many on this board, the protests are overwhelmingly peaceful while cars and buildings are torched. Yet, all police or a majority of them are bad because of the actions of a few.

That’s right Fooch!

Protesters and rioters/looters are not one and the same here...police units across many areas have been intimindating and have instigated certain situations...amazing after last Monday there are individuals on police forces that have acted in abusive and aggresive ways, have a NYC officer flash a white power signal and giggle about it.

What is the white power signal?

Omg this is not a white power symbol, that's been debunked. It was started by 4chan to troll people.

https://www.adl.org/blog/how-the-ok-symbol-became-a-popular-trolling-gesture

"Has the simple thumb-and-forefinger “OK” hand gesture become a common white supremacist hand sign? Not quite, but it has become a popular gesture used by people across several segments of the right and far right—including some actual white supremacists—who generally use it to trigger reactions, or what they would describe as “trolling the libs.”"

So that's better... It's a "far right" police officer who is attempting to trigger or "troll libs" by using a fake white power hand signal developed on 4chan (basically where the scum of the earth reside) in order to get a reaction and laugh about it? After another unarmed black man was murdered by a white cop.

If that's the case... He's just another POS cop. Just like the NYCP cop who drive an SUV into a crowd. Just like the Louisville cop who on live tv aimed his rubber bullet gun at a news reporter and camera and kept firing. Just like the cop who arrested an afro-latino cnn reporter and his crew on national tv. Seem like a lot of "bad apples" around the nation.

Piece of shit cops, nice. You are really that ignorant to think the A-OK sign is for white power. I feel bad for you sheep.

You didn't address the point of my post. But that's what you all do, deflect and name call. You are right in one thing. I am ignorant to the trolling attempts of the "far right" on 4chan. Maybe you're not though.

But on another note. You can call people "pieces of shit" (POS), tell them to "go **** themselves" (GFY) and tell them to "shut the **** up" (STFU) and have all the "independent, level headed thinkers" on this board like your posts. And that's okay? Got it.

You didn't address the point of my post. You can call posters here pieces of shit? But I can't use that term? Got it.

Aren't you a teacher? Should we use all the pedos in teaching to say you're also a pedo? Is that how this works?

I've read plenty of Bobbie Solo posts, he is what I called him.

Again, changing the issue.

If that cop used a 4chan "white power trolling libs" gesture during this whole issue in order to incite people and then laughed about it. He's a POS and should get fired. Just like the cop in Louisville, the SUV driver in NYC, the cops who arrested the CNN crew.

Again, changing the issue.

That cop should lose his job for that troll job.

It's a simple yes or no question. Is there systematic pedophilia in teaching based on the number of arrests we see?

Many on the left claim there is systematic racism in policing because of the acts of a few.

I've already said the Minnesota cop should be fired and tried. I don't believe there is systematic racism in policing. I don't believe that teachers are bad, but you certainly like to paint all cops with a broad brush.

Does the same standard apply to teachers?

And many on the right hate teachers and the education and paint them/it with a broad brush.

You obviously are a cop or have family that are cops based on your handle. You are triggered by how people on this board feel about cops. Have a met good cops? When dealing with me personally? Yes, but I'm not black. Have I met cops that have tried to pull shady things on me? Yes. BS tickets, etc. 1 got away with it and I got 2 points added to my license and had a massive fine. The cop had no evidence I was doing anything wrong but the system always reverts to believing the police. Small potatoes in the grand scheme of things.

I don't trust police. Simple as that.

And now that the topic is changed. Have a great day everyone!

PS: Knies... Don't check out the IGs of a lot of our current players signees and recruits. You really won't like what they are posting.

I'm not on the right, FYI. I am central, I would of voted for Amy Klobuchar over Trump if the Democrats hadn't elected the same crap in Biden. I am not a cop, I have 1 extended family member who is. I've been pulled over many times and have been respectful, and had perfect interactions with the police, never even been written a ticket.

I also don't hate teachers, I think they're critical in educating our society. I wouldn't judge you because a colleague liked kids, and I wouldn't judge a cop because of what his colleague did.

I don't support the riots, which is what these "protests" have become.

Legit Question for you (based on you criticism of Colin K) before I go to virtual school.... A lot of our current players signees and recruits are reposting quite a lot of things that would upset you. What if they decide to kneel at a game?

They are expressing themselves in a peaceful way. And they are not doing it on their "company time" (NBA, NFL)?

I would not support it. I don't see any reason to bring politics into a sporting event. If we want to hold a moment of silence for someone who was harmed by the police that's fine, just as I would expect a moment of silence if a Newark PD was harmed by a bad person.

But go check out their "IG" to see what they're posting! You might not like it! As if grown adults checking out the social media of Seton Hall's players is important or something to do on a daily basis.

People hating teachers is a new one too. Who in their right mind would hate teachers?

Officers around the country are assaulted and hated because of the actions of a few bad actors, and these same warriors for justice say nothing. Maybe this hits a bit close to home for me, but I was almost killed by someone with these same emotions and feeling towards police. Many surgeries and years of therapy later, I was forced to retire from a job that I truly loved. Peaceful protests are an American right, but please don’t confuse the two.

Everyone will agree racial profiling is wrong. Anyone who argues that is a buffoon. Profiling is wrong. However the solution seems to be profiling cops. Until that way of thinking changes on both sides there will be no improvements to the situation. Things may calm down for a period of time, but the change won't happen.

Forgive me for me being just a dumb former cop, but I can’t understand your logic here.

Demonizing a race or profession is not the answer. (Captain obvious....although seems like there are posters that like to do that). The solution should be built around standards and accountability. Mayor, Council, Police Chief and Union should be accountable. There are communities that do a great job of this. Minneapolis is not one of them. Maybe withhold state and Federal funding of programs/support if they fail like Minny.

Watching all the MSM and political leaders, I don’t hear any solutions...just dopey platitudes and memes.
