They've got a team that plays with intensity. That wants to win every game. That has a clear system with a great plan on O and D. They've got a coach that has a winning tradition and is a clear leader.

Tell whatever crotchety fan that told you to sit to pound sand. I hope you didn't comply. I cannot stand that faction of the crowd. Put your tickets on stubhub if you clearly have no passion when watching the game.

Our fans suck. I got our section into it. No prisoners attitude needs to happen. We need to be mean. Old guys need to get younger. We can make it a real advantage if we try.

I would like to sit with fans like you.
When I'm at games I am fired up and into it.
Hall crowds need to be loud and intimidating vs rivals like SJU and Nova. (and all BE games).

I was behind the original poster in section 13. He was the only person standing in the entire region of about 6 sections. The two guys were 75 years old, and I don't blame them.
This person went nuts on them when they asked him to sit down. I was with my dad, who is about the same age, and he couldn't see, either. He didn't say anything, but if he had, and this guy responded to my dad like that, I would have been thrown out for decking him. There's being a fan, and then there's being a disrespectful jerk. 30 seconds in, I was fine with sitting, and nobody complained when there was a big play or a big defensive possession and everybody stood up.
Bad advice telling people to get nasty and mean, these two old guys simply went to security. A lot of these old guys go to games with their sons, and it's going to be a problem if you're going to treat people who have been going to the games for 50 years like that.

Love almost everything you post Donnie. But not this one. No one has a right to tell fans who are contributing to a home court advantage to sit down.
Donnie I'll just disagree with you and we can close the loop. I would just ask you to chat with the other fans old and young I sit with every game about how disrespectful I am. Happy holidays and see everyone Tuesday.
