Does he have a role off the bench for a high D1 team?No insider info but I think Prince will be back. Like Wusu hitting the portal last year. Figures he’ll see what price he can get but I doubt anyone is willing to pay more than whatever he’s already getting from SHU. 3 insignificant years from him so far.
From what I read Watkins is likely to stay in the NBA draft. He flirted with turning pro last year. If he came back there would be an insane bidding war for him IMO, but I think this situation is more like RJ Luis than Xavian Lee.
I don’t see him having a role on another high-D1 team. He barely had a role on the worst one last year. Maybe there’s someone willing to take a chance on him though.Does he have a role off the bench for a high D1 team?
If you believe the answer is yes. Then my guess is that school can pay him more than what Seton Hall is probably willing or capable of paying him next year.
Agreed. It becomes a pure financial decision and whether for development purposes the kids prefer to start competing and practicing against pros assuming they can get drafted in the second round or catch on even if not drafted.Luis & Watkins will both be 23 at the start of next season. If they aren’t ready for the NBA yet I doubt another year in college will make a difference.
the fact that we have most of our guys leaving looking for greener pastures despite being on our worst basketball team in 112 years. It is rather comical.
Who hurt you? What's comical is that we have the same posters who wanted to jettison them all during and at the end of the season now reacting in horror as they leave. It's fodder for more shots at SHU, and they have no credibility anyway, so what the hell?
