There have been numerous complaints about posters who simply link news items that support their political point of view. Typically there is no comment and the for the most part the posts languish with no responses. There are two posters I have in mind...... one is politically on the left and the other on the right.

My simple proposal is that each post made here should have some commentary about the point that is trying to be made. Posters can link an article to support their points, but the simple linking of articles without commentary should be prohibited. Call it the "Act to Avoid Tedium and Cringe".

Agreed! I notified the moderators regarding the poster "on the left" recently.

Some people lack self awareness and can’t take a hint…thanks for trying

If you use the Ignore feature their threads will not show up.

Ignoring them entirely is probably the best way to deal with them. As long as they get views and likes they will persist.

Ok, however I was following Dan's instructions to provide examples. Which I did.

This is not a moderated board, and those too dim to understand that and Dan's statements are either purposely trolling or really not fit for society.

It would be nice if the personal twitter feeds didn't creep into the posts without that commentary, but simply ignoring is probably best.
