Always loved listening to Tony late and overnights when I was matching that schedule....he and Richard Neer my two under the radar guys at that station

Tony is excellent. A true boxing aficionado. I'll always listen to him when I'm on the West Coast or traveling for business. IMHO, watching paint dry is more exciting than listening to Richard Neer.

Neer's mellow style is precisely his appeal to me. WFAN has its full share of guys who are louder and more hyper and I enjoy them, too, for the most part. IMHO Neer is great counterpoint to those guys.

I haven't listened to Richard Neer wince he was on 102.7 WNEW, when I first started listening to classic rock in the mid 80s. Had no idea he had been a sports talk guy for 30 years!
