I have an opinion based on what I saw. Look at it for yourself and share yours.
Right. What is the "it" you are referring to? I'm willing to watch, just not sure what you afe talking about.

My TV “news” is essentially limited to CBS national and the local affiliate. Cable news is opinion trash “fake” IMO. Within 24 hours, anybody who had any objectivity, could see that there were numerous holes in his story. Yet the reporting did not question or investigate any of it. Instead, they supported the reporting with tweets from politicians and celebrities, many of which were irresponsible or fanned divisiveness. Trump, for all of his ridiculous tweets, was actually the most measured, saying it was “horrible” when first reported. Now also look at Robin Roberts interview which was a week later, and she never asked any questions about the inconsistencies...wonder why?Right. What is the "it" you are referring to? Yes, agree, but why does the MSM feel the need to interject political and celebrity tweets into the reporting of the story?I spent a little bit of time trying to weed through and find how it was originally covered. One search brought me to a clip from Ben Shapiro which did look bad but most of the clips he used were snippets where people were just quoting the police report. Most that I saw did refer to it an an alleged incident but there was a line between the allegation and then describing what happened where it did sound like they were factually describing what happened so I get some of the criticism there.
Without celebrities and politicians blowing up this story, I think the coverage wouldn't really have been nearly as much of an issue.
I'm glad that the celebs and Harris/Booker have a bit of egg on their face here though. Hopefully they learn from it.
This is one of the reasons I stopped watching a lot of news programs, instead of reporting on the facts of a story, the segment is filled with tweets from celebs, athletes and Joe Q Nobody had to tweet about an event. Fox 5 NY local news is horrible on this front.Yes, agree, but why does the MSM feel the need to interject political and celebrity tweets into the reporting of the story?
Still waiting to hear Booker's follow-up spin
