I like him, he's certainly a pretty good coach. A little too emotional at times with the refs, that will hurt at some point. Not making the NCAA's yet is a black mark on an otherwise very strong resume'. Clearly he belongs in the Big East soon. Would certainly be good for Seton Hall.

Don't know much about URI but it seems Hurley has most of his team coming back. They should be good them demand and his price tag go up. If Danny goes to SJU no way Bobby comes here

I figured it would take seeing the reality of the collateral damage of KW holding us hostage for everyone to get on board. Hurley's going elsewhere (ESP to a division rival). Transfers. Etc. get ready to duck for cover.

It's tough to come out and take this position when you maybe know some of the individuals who got us into this mess personally.

i think there are others who know the individuals involved personally, and they're the last remnant of Willard (sort of) supporters.

I just wish they'd find a different approach than running down this board and the fan base.

At this point, the only coach I'd be satisfied with who will be in our price range is one of the Hurley brothers. I can not picture anything worse than if Danny ends up at SJU and we remain stuck with Willard.

Regardless of where Danny Hurley went to college, is he had his choice of coaching at St. John's or Seton Hall, you have to think he would choose St. John's. Though it's not the program it once was, it's still the more prestigious program. No matter where he ends up, it will only be for a short while if he's successful.
