Are we expecting anything out of him next year??? Was this a wasted scholarship, or is he being prepared to play significant minutes next year?? Was this a wasted scholarship, or do we expect to see him on the court next year??

I honestly don't know where he stands on our team and I'm asking an honest question. His size alone should be helpful.

I think you should expect essentially what we got out of him this year. Situational player whose playing time will be based on foul problems and injuries.

Look, I don't think its any secret that Chier has a way to go. Let's face it, at his size, if he was "pret a porter," he'd be at Kentucky or Kansas.

But if he works hard, he had the kind of size you can't teach, and perhaps can be a solid contributor before he goes. He plays hard and enthusiastically, so maybe it'll come. Seems like a good kid, too.

If Germiapoor could develop into a serviceable big man in three years there is hope for Ajou. And he does have the size that is needed.

Yes, he can and should develop and play his roll better. Let's level set expectations though; he can have a great career here but it's a stretch to project him as a top 8-9 rotation guy.

You have 13 scholarships. Not all 13 players are going to play every game.

It'd be great if he could develop into a serviceable center. He's got a long, long way to go, but he'll be here the next 2 seasons and let's hope he develops.

If he did nothing more than stand in the middle and hold his arms up, it would change the way teams play under our basket and force them to go outside.

The first game against Nova when Angel was on the bench in the 1st half in foul trouble, he did a nice job keeping their big guy away from the basket.
