I was astonished that they never saw the floor yesterday. When Anthony picked up his third foul I thought sure one of them would appear. When he got his fourth foul I was astounded they stayed on the bench. For a while we had Nzei and Ish at the 4 and the 5 and I was good with that, but they were each in foul trouble, too.

We were playing the worst team in the league and neother Anderson nor Carter could even get a couple of minutes with ALL our bigs in foul trouble? Yes, I know how bog the talent dropoff is from Angel to those two guys, but for them to never even get a minute? Pretty sad.

usually the end of bench guys dont ever matter. but vs st johns they mattered ALOT, and losing to them would make that the most meaningful game of the season. so in that regard the anderson test could have bitten us right in the butt.

was he even there? gotta think he could play some minutes vs the worst team in the league.

The game was too intense to put one of those guys in there. It's really a matter of trust and I don't think Willard has that with them yet. I don't blame him for playing the guys he did at all.

The time to put Anderson or Carter in the game was in the first half after Anthony picked up his second and we were up by 16. Once he picked up his fourth in the first half you knew he would foul out after about two minutes in the second half.

Anthony picked up his 4th foul well before this was a one or two-possession game and well before the end-game.

With what's his name as coach, nothing astonishes me anymore. BA or MC should have been inserted in the first half when Anthony picked up his third foul. Its not like BA doesn't have the experience or ant played much college ball. He used to get in BEFORE Anthony would see the court. SH was handling SJU at that time. Terrible call by what's his name that almost blew up on him. Thank goodness SJU can't shoot FTs or game over for SH.

I agree with Tom but I think Vegas PJ has a valid point as well. I was astonished to see Anthony pickup his 4th foul in the first half. I am also surprised Myles Carter wasn't redshirted this year. All in all, another road win and that's what counts.

Carter is way more athletic than Anderson or Anthony. He would have helped us.
