So far as Nova beat Ga.Tech and Xavier beat USC. Still to be played is PC against Arizona and of course our women's game. Every time we beat a power 5 team it helps our conference ranking and that helps at tourney time.
Another Good Day For The BE.

Its been a great start of the season for the BE. If PC beats Arizona tonight that would be off the charts. Dan had some KenProm stats today showing that the BE is now the 4th rated conference, ahead of both the SEC and Pac 12. Maybe we can make another contribution tomorrow night.
It is not clear to me that the Big 10 is as strong as in previous years.
I think that the BE may be able to pull into a fairly comparable position of conference strength with the Big 10.
Some of the bottom rung teams from BE may have improved greatly, eg Creighton, while the traditional top BE teams are still strong, eg Butler, Nova, Xavier. Xavier may become a big national surprise.
I think Gtown can become as strong as any Big10 team, by year end.There may be some potential for St Johns to get better by year end also, if Lovett is cleared on appeal.
