If traffic conditions are anything like they were for the Johnnies game, I would probably have to leave about an hour and a half earlier than normal.

I got there at halftime for the St. John's game. Frank

Just spoke to my brother Ed today. he tells me Newark's streets are fine and getting to The Rock should take normal travel time. Frank

Someone said they were fine last game too but took me 1.5hrs to get there.

Still think it would be good idea to leave a bit early because not all the streets are in good shape yet.

It is gonna rain all afternoon tomorrow. As long as it doesn't get real cold, we should be OK.

21 seems fine.

However, I took side roads throughout the Western area between NJPAC and Branchbrook Park and it took me 25 minutes at 4pm to go that 1-2 miles yesterday.

So main roads? Seems good.

Side roads? Still a bit dicey.

It took me 1.5 hours to get to the SJU game and that was with getting off in Harrison NJ and taking the PATH. Otherwise, I never would have made it to that game. There were maybe 1,000-1500 in the building at tip off that night. People finally started filing in.

My brother works at NJ Transit and says things have gotten better at rush hour and with the later start noted above it should be OK at that time. The SJU game ended at 8:50 I took the PATH back and was home to north Bergen county at 10:00 so with an 8:30 start it should be OK getting there also.

Newark cleaned up it's act when Mayor Addinizzio & Gyp DeCarlo were sent up the river in the early70s

Hey, this is what we get into by not having our own place; dealing with the nonsense that only the city of Newark can provide. Ras B can say what he wants, but Newark, as usual, is in the past when it comes any kind of quality service when it comes to something like snow removal. There is always some sort of excuse for the mess that follows a storm
