Obviously she knows she’s not married.

The question is did she receive something improper by listing him as a spouse on these forms, or would a fiancé be treated the same for travel purposes and she was instructed at some point that fiancé was synonymous with spouse (which seems to be the case from that MET Gala report)

She subscribes to modern monetary theory that says you can just print money and everything will workout fine.So she has no grasp of economics so maybe she thinks if you consider yourself married you are married, legality has nothing to do with it.
