Back Nine

On the contrary (LOL), I think many of us are actually capable of changing our minds and have made modifications based on new evidence.

I know - it does seem counter-intuitive or even counter-factual.

Based on what I read here not many have changed their minds yet. Maybe this is not a bad thing.

Well, if there are only two polar positions, then of course, one will miss the changes.

So - from my perspective, I've come to see a rather wide ranging spectrum of opinions and in that context, I've noticed quite a large number of partial shifts on issues back and forth. It's just not monolithic.

Tomorrow will show if this group is ready to take it to the next level. This is the type of game past SHU teams have lost. High expectations and poor results due to those expectations.

Let's see if this team is different than its predecessors.

If it isn't and they come back next season then a history has been established and they will have to prove they can get past that history.

But that's a discussion for next season. One I hope we don't have to face.

I think this entire stretch at home is huge, not just tomorrow night. I'm not saying we need to go 3-0, but we need to play at a high level all 3 nights. As I said in other threads it would make things easier if we can protect the home court. I can agree to disagree on the history part because I think if we go into Depaul needing a W, 2012 will be brought up a lot, but I'm hoping we accomplish the job well before then. Tough defense, continue to rebound, and share the basketball will get the job done tomorrow and in the future.
