Elijah Carter
6-1, 170 | Class of 2011

Updated null
Strengths:
Carter is a combo-guard who typically has the ball in his hands but is more of a scorer than distributor. He's a good athlete with an already strong body who attacks the rim aggressively in transition or the half court, has good burst to the rim, finishes well against contact, and is a good (but streaky) perimeter shooter. He's a solid defender and typically makes pretty good decisions with the ball although he is not a pure point guard.
Weaknesses:
Eli is not a pure point guard so he must continue to work on his decison making and play making skills. Also, he needs to improve his perimeter jump shot for the next level.
Bottom Line:
Although he can play both guard positions, Carter has showed good progression in terms of his development as a point guard making good decisions with the ball and organizing the team in the half-court set. Carter also attacks the rim, especially in the open floor, and shows good athleticism and body control finishing at the rim.
