Bad news, good news

Very good for us. Angel has to find the fire he had last year. Does not seem engaged, seems to be drifting through the game.

Admittedly I have not seen every minute of each game so far but the minutes I have seen Delgado play look like he's lost the fire in his belly a bit. Last year he looked like the second coming of jerry walker this year not so much.

Sanogo and Nzei have thoroughly outplayed Delgado for large chunks this year, IMO.

I agree, IW and AD need another year to develop after this season. If either one decides to leave early, they are not doing justice to what might have been. IW needs consistency. He continually shows flashes of brilliance along with flashes of frustration.

I agree with thebcomment on Delgado. I don't know if it's that I had too high expectations for him this year but Delgado just doesn't seem like the same player he was last year. Not even close. Last year he was our best player, this year at times I don't even notice he's on the court.

Same can be said about Whitehead. Last year every game (prior to injury) you would see the flashes of brilliance - no look passes, great shots, etc. highlight reel stuff that you would expect from a McDonald's all American. I'm not seeing that this year.

Do others agree or is it just me?

Conversely the strides made by Sonogo and Desi have been phenomenal. Completely blew me away and you have to give credit for the staff for that.

Absolutely. I'd put Carrington in there as well. Those 3 have been superb thus far.

Nzei looks like a player and we'll see how he develops throughout the season. Jury out on Singh, but you can see the promise.
