The tournament this year holds the least interest it has in years (thanks being "spoiled" by the run of byes and Friday-Saturday appearances), but I'd love to get Georgetown a third time, given how we matched up the last 2 games. On the BE website, it has Depaul as 10 and us as 11, which would get us Villanova. I actually think we are 10th, though, since tiebreakers are head-to-head (1-1) and the second tiebreaker is record vs. higher seeded teams. Depaul beat us and Gtown. We beat Depaul and Uconn, which gives us the best win.

Hey, it's been a sh*t season, gotta look forward to at least the Wednesday game.

Even in this terrible year that has been a challenge since game freaking 2 at Walsh, I still look forward to the BET at MSG every year. It’s a terrific event in my favorite venue.

DePaul plays at Providence, then Georgetown. They lost to one in OT and beat the other, so no gimme they go 2-18. I would be stunned if we don’t go 2-18 with Creighton and at Connecticut on deck.

I too hope we get Georgetown in the 7/10 game at 6:30. Or Butler. Even Providence. Any of them. Nova at the BET in MSG would be fun for old time’s sake.

Without Sorber I think we match up really well with Gtown. They shouldn't be able to dominate us on the glass/inside. It will come down to our guards/wings controlling their guards/wings.

I will go to basically any BET tournament game. If anyone ever has tickets they are looking to unload, for any game, post here b/c I'm always interested in the BET. Doesn't matter the matchup. Great way to meet up with friends etc. One of my favorite sporting events.
