DePaul and Georgetown. Lose one and tournament hopes are on life support, lose both and there’s zero chance. A tournament team takes care of both, with or without its best player.

A loss in either of these will kill us.
You’re probably right, but there’s enough Q1 opportunities left that theoretically could make up for a loss to Georgetown if we went on a run. Two losses and stick a fork in the season no matter what.

Neither will be easy. Depaul looks very good so far at creighton. Georgetown is a different team..
A lot of teams can look good for half a game. Just look at us today. We were only down a point at halftime but I had a bad feeling. We can’t sustain 40 minutes without our best player. DePaul can’t sustain 40 minutes against anybody. Tuesday night will be interesting. We need to get it done.

Don't forget we were down 4 to Georgetown with 2 min to go, I am NOT taking anyone lightly

At 13-8, 6-4 with a NET of 74 and 4 Q1 wins on January 29th, halfway through the BE season I think any of us would've signed for that. We've had a brutal week. We lost two winnable games at home - one in 3OT and another where we led by 10 with about 12 minutes to play. We're shorthanded and it's showing.

We can beat DePaul without Richmond. Then get everyone back.

Thank you, perspective.
I don't understand all the absolutes. This season was supposed to be a complete wash, and we're 6-4 with two losses with our best player out (which we all knew was the one thing we could not afford).

Still in great shape, and obviously we have to get the 2 Depaul games and the Georgetown game. But enough with the daily doomsday scenarios. The way this season has gone, would anyone be shocked to see us win the BET? Certainly not banking on it, but if you told me in November we'd have wins against UConn and Marquette in our pocket, I wouldn't have believed it. Slip up against Gtown (doubtful)? Maybe sweep Nova.

These games will require the team to still play well with or without KR. Davis and Wusu need to defend and make their shots! Especially layups which for some reason seem to be very hard to make during this losing streak! Dawes needs to continue to be an offensive threat and Bediako needs to hold his own in the post.
