DePaul and Georgetown. Lose one and tournament hopes are on life support, lose both and there’s zero chance. A tournament team takes care of both, with or without its best player.
You’re probably right, but there’s enough Q1 opportunities left that theoretically could make up for a loss to Georgetown if we went on a run. Two losses and stick a fork in the season no matter what.A loss in either of these will kill us.
A lot of teams can look good for half a game. Just look at us today. We were only down a point at halftime but I had a bad feeling. We can’t sustain 40 minutes without our best player. DePaul can’t sustain 40 minutes against anybody. Tuesday night will be interesting. We need to get it done.Neither will be easy. Depaul looks very good so far at creighton. Georgetown is a different team..

Will Richmond be on the bench dressed and ready to go if necessary? If not, got to get out the rosary beads and pray for some help to keep us from the dreaded Q4 loss.Agree. Tuesday is huge
At 13-8, 6-4 with a NET of 74 and 4 Q1 wins on January 29th, halfway through the BE season I think any of us would've signed for that. We've had a brutal week. We lost two winnable games at home - one in 3OT and another where we led by 10 with about 12 minutes to play. We're shorthanded and it's showing.
We can beat DePaul without Richmond. Then get everyone back.
