Since, these are the only people that can force Lyons hands to force out his friend, do we have contact info for these folks?

Email address ?
Physical Address?

This would seem to be a worthwhile place to send the correct info to the right people on our feelings.

Those of us on here know that he needs to go. I hope these people do as well, but maybe if they heard from some of our eloquent folks that lay out the facts for them, then they can see that we really need a fresh start, and that the status quo hurts us for many years to come. To take from one of our former marketing efforts. THE TIME IS NOW. #SHUBACK

It boggles my mind how people continue to misread the entire untenable situation by thinking it hinges on only one factor --- Lyons sticking up for his friend. Ugh.

Do we know this for a fact? Lloyde made a good point in another thread. They see what we see. Maybe they are hoping/looking for a way out.

If nothing happens after the BOR meeting - a mutual accommodation to separate being the best way to go - then I see a couple of clocks start ticking:

due date to submit the small season ticket renewal deposit (April? June?)April signing period resultsfinal due date for season ticket payments (August?)
Oh there's time before real money has to be addressed.

If they really fail to negotiate an accommodation, I would think it will become very hot in here and should get worse, if there are no April results or other changes.

This is really a major watershed.

The program can really take steps to be different than the history. Or it can prove that the history is not wrong and will never change.

People will then have enough information to decide what they personally wish to do.

There is no way Purnell resigned on his own and left somewhere between 3.5 and 4 million on the table. I'm assuming DePaul and Purnell came to a number where both parties were happy and moved on. The same thing needs to happen here with Seton Hall next week. No excuses.

lol. I'm assuming he was looking to just use the mailing address but still probably a better idea to keep correspondence to the school level.

No, we don't, and I know that there are some members on the Board who are NOT behind Willard. That jives with what HallDan said regarding the meeting, were differences between those in two camps would be "hashed out." A well-written letter addressed to the Board, or the individual members, signed by several fans, particularly those like the guy who was incessantly talking about his own business last week, would carry some weight.

You must mean JimmyD. Haven't heard from him since the BE tourney loss. Must have landed another monster client. Plus his stance was that he would stop donating if we did let Willard go.

I edited the reference to showing up at his house because I didn't want any sensitive posters thinking I was serious. But that's pretty funny. Don't forget about the armed guards and electronic eye though.

There are 43 members of the Board of Regents and how many can we reasonably expect to have athletics as a priority for SH. Even if you say a third , will it be enough to convince other members to eat Willard's contract when you consider the demand for funding for the start-up of the medical school which should be the school's top priority.
