Not really. Myocarditis after the vaccine specifically was something for teen boys. It is correct to say that it was after Covid as well. Both can cause it- so why it wouldn't be brought up or you would be frustrated at someone bringing it up makes no sense.

isnt it a higher risk in.... actual covid? is it not fair to talk about that or completely miss the forrest through the trees?

If someone got covid, and got the vaccine- wouldn't they have a higher chance of getting Myocarditis than if they didnt get the vaccine?

Also, I think its pretty likely the young man got the vaccine and he may not have had Covid. So discussion on the Vaccine is more than valid.

Not according to the available studies. For example.

With Covid infection, 7x more likely to have heart issues if you’re not vaccinated than vaccinated.

If I have a chance of getting myocarditis from Covid, and I get covid, then don;t get Myocarditis.... I still have a chance of getting Myocarditis if I get the vaccine later.

Of course, but we should keep everything in context here.

According to that study I posted, Infection without the vaccine will increase your risk by 15x.
Vaccine alone will increase your risk by 2x.
Infection after vaccination increases your risk by 7x.

That's not to fearmonger or anything. The risk is still very low, but to place any increase all on the vaccine without acknowledging the potential impact from the virus itself seems very ignorant to be honest.

oh you mean they dont give you a dose of vaccine and the disease at once? changes everything big guy

Lol, you obvioulsy didn't get what I was saying the first time. They are given at different times. So your odds of getting Myocarditis increase than if you didn't get the vaccine. That's what I said.

You said I was wrong, and now this is your response....

Sure. You make some good points.

It's also worth noting that many more people are vaccinated against Covid than those who have actually gotten Covid.

That's not correct. Recent seroprevalence analysis from the CDC showed 78% had antibodies from prior infection by the end of 2022. Would likely be a bit higher now and about the same rate as vaccinations in the 18-49 age group.

Thanks- I stand corrected.

Still worth noting that there are huge side effects to the Vax so it deserves further scrutiny.

Who knows if this is what even caused Bronny in the first place, maybe the kid is doing something without his parents knowing (wouldnt be the first kid to do so).
