If you're a company that deals with importing goods, you have no idea if the current tariffs will stay. You have no idea if finding an alternative source will also be penalized. It's chaotic.

It is certainly causing a lot of extra work for companies and businesses and I don’t disagree that it’s chaotic. That’s pretty obvious.

As I have said multiplications, I have no idea if this will be successful or not. I’m not an economist. We do seem to have a lot of “experts” here though. Well, let’s be honest, the MSM is disingenuous because no one is paying higher prices right now because of the tariff strategy.

Businesses that import goods are absolutely paying more now. They may have front loaded inventory to get ahead of the tariffs, or they might eat those costs in the short term as they evaluate the market and navigate the uncertainty, but eventually they will have to raise prices.

But they haven’t yet. The consumer has essentially not seen it yet.
