Butler or Gtown

What is the best result for SHU tonight.

- If Butler loses they are pretty much out and will play Wed night.
- If Gtown loses it helps our chance to finish top 4 and will likely remove them from NCAA talk.

I'd rather play Gtown coming off of a win.

They both are under performing but both played great non conference schedules so a few key wins down the stretch and they are in.

I like Gtown more but I'd think Butler in a must win at home will prevail.

Doesn't matter. Seton Hall gets to 10 conference wins, you are in. If you go 9-9, you will need a little work in the BET. Doesn't really matter what other teams do at this point.

And these teams are both below you and this is somewhat of a survival game, so it's not like watching one team that could be bubble competition against a team that is definitely out. These teams are pretty even.

Should be a good game though. One of those games that you don't need a rooting interest to enjoy, as it means so much to each team.

I never get saying you don't want to play a team after a loss. I get the thinking is they will be more focused and angry and hungry for a win, did that do anything to help Providence or Crieghton? Doesn't matter win or lose. Who is to say the loss still isn't in the back of their minds? All that matters is if the team with Seton Hall on the front of their jersey's show up and play tough. I think if they do they will win each of these 3 games, if SHU plays like they can I don't see any of the next 3 games being a loss. I can say that because of the DEFENSE

You can have off nights shooting the ball and some nights you just don't get a good bounce offensively, but your defense is always there if you play hard, smart and tough

Georgetown is a huge disappointment this season to say the least.

Yes they are but what people forget is how young they are with 6 sophs and 3 freshman and their inconsistent play reflects that.

Dunham was huge tonight. Great win by butler. They worry me more than gtown. Better outside shooting team than gtown.

I have a hard time thinking butler isn't a tourney team.. gu should be too but they just don't have it so far.

Both have been tough to get a read on. Butler now has 4 BE wins, 3 of which are SJU and Depaul. Georgetown has 5 BE wins, 3 of which are SJU and Depaul but does have a signature win against Xavier. Really not that much different than SHU though. Our 4 games against those two teams are incredibly important.

A win tomorrow night puts the Hall in 4th place tie with Georgetown before the game with them on Saturday. Creighton travels to Villanova so pencil in their loss. After Saturdays game it is realistic to see the Hall alone in 4th. Huge two home games coming up. Gonna get exciting down this stretch.
