Talks about the Athletic Department from the POV that Yablonski does all the organizing for the reunions on his own and nobody is marketing. Also address the lack of students and similar thread of lacking promotion and connection.

He also gives his personal opinion of resources (which I thought we were beyond with Pat Lyons, etc.).

Why is this? Seriously, do we have no staff? Why are we so awful at these things? It makes no sense.

Carino's podcast is a great listen. He tells it like it is. I hope the Hall powers that be are listening. I can't wait to dive in tomorrow during my three mile morning walk. Let's all make sure we support him. His work is worth it.

Excellent take by Jerry. Yeah it’s a miserable season but he clearly points the finger at University leadership above the AD: the BOR, even the archdiocese.

He says University leadership and athletics are not on the same page. Sports, especially hoops is integral to the perception of SHU and is not valued appropriately by leadership. Hoops has been fairly successful running as a mom and pop.

Those days are clearly over. More resources are needed in Athletics. He seems to imply that staffers are holding down multiple roles. That’s why stuff like the players reunion is left to alums like yablonski. Carino was fired up but measured.

He's right. The staffs are so overworked it's ridiculous. Burnout is a way of life at the Hall and I feel for many of those involved.

Not surprising. Church and State rarely see things the same way.St Johns had this problem for years. They may start paying attention if and when applications to SHU drop.
