Christie doing well with media exposure

I don’t follow politics all that much because it is so divisive. However, I’ll note that two of my friends who are the biggest Trump haters both support Christie. I think their support is more about hating Trump than supporting Christie.
As far as Christie is concerned, I thought he did a tremendous job during his early years as governor. I think the power, however, went to his head, and he became an unlikable bully.

I'm glad Christie is taking on Trump. I'm a conservative and Trump is and has never been a conservative. He added to the swamp and had his family doing things they had no right doing. The guy is a menace and I can't understand the blind loyalty people have to this nepotist. As a conservative I am glad Christie is taking him on.
Christie is a moderate. A moderate Republican is the only one that can win a general election in my opinion. Trump can't win - he lost women and independent voters and he's not getting them back. The election was not stolen despite the Dems changing the rules. They outflanked Repubs and Trump's constant negatism drove swing voters away. Trumpers love to bash Biden who is clearly not running he country. But its a waste of time because I don't think Joe is gonna make it to the end. Repubs and Trumpers need to wake up and get behind a candidate that can take on the Dems and actually win. Burgum, Scott, Ramasway could all potentially excite voters in different ways. I have come to believe that Nikki Haley is a fake but she's got a shot too. DeSantis has really screwed up his campaign and turned lots of folks off and the media constant bashing of anything related to Florida will hurt his campaign.
But please Trumpers, Repubs cannnot win with him as the candidate. You will have more liberal laws and judges appointed if you continue to stick with Trump because he cannot and will not win the general election. Christie is doing the party a favor. Hate him all you want but he will get media attention from the MSM and it won't help Trumps campaign. Christie used to be the top Repub fund raiser and has deep ties. He may be doing all the candidates a big favor IMO.

I am a Republican Conservative as well. I totally agree that our best chance of winning the election is for a moderate Republican to receive the nomination. Heaven help us if Biden / Harris get re-elected. I don't think anyone can seriously argue that they are not incompetent.
Blame our military if they can't detect stuff probably because they're too busy searching out white supremacists. Not destroying something that was not detected is quite different from letting a known spy balloon have free access to our whole country . Biden shot it down long after it got all the information it was designed for. No credit due him. I do blame Trump for appointing Milley and Wray but then I look at the hacks and incompetents sitting in Biden's cabinet. Sad days for our REPUBLICWorth noting that Chinese spy balloons passed over the U.S. at least three times during the Trump administration, which were not detected in real time!
If anything, you should be directing your ire at the Trump admin and celebrating the Biden admin for shooting that one balloon down.

None of us here have any understanding of what happened or what went into the decision to shoot it down or not. You're not even open to the possibility that it could have been a good strategic option for us to not blow it up and instead try to block / intercept the signals to understand what China was trying to accomplish?
You're right that it's quite different - it's way worse to be completely oblivious about it at least three times. I'm pretty sure that's worse. You think it didn't "get all the information it was designed for" all those other times when they were asleep at the switch?
The goal post moving here is absolutely insane, and this balloon stuff is the least of Trump's issues, with regard to compromising our national security.
After the spy balloon appeared, I prayed to Our Lady of Fatima and about a week later she came to me in a vision. She told me it won't happen again.

I no longer have faith in our military. Austin and Milley are useless, witness Afghanistan. They both should have been immediately fired after that debacle. Second, if there was any risk of secrets being transmitted, u don’t think the military would have pushed for an immediate downing? Biden’s first reaction was to shoot it down immediately. That was changed over the fear that it could harm people on the ground. The military then blocked the balloon from transmitting any information until it was shot down.

You mean Trumps original party. As a true conservative I laugh when Trumpers call him a conservative. He’s not. The tax plan he passed and the judges appointed were his successes and I applaud that. After that he got very little done. Let’s get together and vote for a candidate that can actually win a general election and keep those conservative judges coming. Trump lost to a guy who can barely finish a sentence. Not good. Can’t win a general election if women and independents won’t vote for you. Also I have three kids of voting age and not one of them or their friends will vote for Trump.

Like last election? The smarter people won't have enough folks to get him elected unfortunately. Keep hanging onto Trump and you will just get another Dem elected. Simple as that. He can't win a general election without women and swing voters and now add young voters to that list that won't vote for him. Time for him to go. The actual vote is better data than the current polls.

His wife Mary Pat was a bond trader and investment banker for years on Wall St and made lots of money. She was always the big bread winner. Doesn’t take much research to figure that out. I recently read a piece about Biden's net worth. Most of it is tied up in real estate. He got a bit lucky with a few properties that appreciated greatly. The beach house did very well.
He also did some speaking in between VP and POTUS.
The foreign dollars have not gone directly to him and have been passed through the shell companies to relatives.
