Didn't vote for him first time around, and I don't think he'd be the best nominee, but you have to give it to Christie for the way he frames and speaks to some topics. There is another YouTube that he did on heroin addiction that ended up killing an ex-colleague that has gone viral.

His problem is the straight shooter is lying about his record, saying he is far more rightwing, and he blames the press for this, even when they read it directly from his spokesman ' words. Mulchine had an article about this in the sl recently.

He is a moderate Repub which for me makes him more of a candidate I would vote for and makes him more electable IMO. His two big mistakes were bridgegate (which in reality did not hurt too many folks and if it was his staff he still needs to be held accountable because it was just plain dumb) and going back on his pledge to fund the pension. He is the first Gov of NJ in roughly 4 Govs who contributed more to the pension fund than the last group of Govs and he should have taken credit for that. Instead he gets a law passed saying they need to fund the whole thing and then he sues to make that law unconstitutional in NJ a few yrs later and wins? In hindsight he should have laid out a plan that said in 6 years we will fully fund the pension and work towards that to clean things up. He defeated his own cause which makes no sense.

His biggest blunder was not running last time when a lot of folks wanted him to and he was much more popular. He is very good in a Town Hall and in a debate though so you can't rule him out.
