Seton Hall will return to action on Sunday, December 29 when it when it heads to Indianapolis, Ind. to face BIG EAST rival Butler. Tip time is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.

LAST GAME
Freshman Jada Eads (Orlando, Fla.) had a career-high 25 points and the Pirates defeated Providence, 51-40, in the BIG EAST Conference opener for both teams on Dec. 21 in Walsh Gym. The Pirates' suffocating defense held the Friars to just 40 points and forced a season-high 30 turnovers.
Eads had a game-high 25 points on 6-for-12 shooting from the floor and 11-for-15 shooting from the free-throw line. She collected her career-high in points for a third straight game. Faith Masonius (Spring Lake, N.J.) had 18 points to go with five rebounds and five steals.
Kaydan Lawson (Cleveland, Ohio), who made her return to the court after missing seven games with an injury, erupted for eight points, a team-best nine rebounds, three assists, four steals and a monster block with 1:49 remaining in the game.

AGAINST BUTLER
Seton Hall and Butler will meet for the 24th time in history on Sunday with the Pirates owning a 17-6 all-time series lead. The teams only met once last year due to the BIG EAST's unbalanced schedule and Seton Hall came away with a 64-50 victory in Hinkle Fieldhouse. The Pirates have won 11 of the last 12 games in the series.
SCOUTING BUTLER
Butler's second-year head coach Austin Parkinson returns eight players, including top point producer Caroline Strande, who averaged 15.1 points per game last season. The Bulldogs added a veteran wing in Kilyn McGuff from Belmont who started 33 games for the Bruins. Butler went 15-17 overall and 6-12 in BIG EAST play to tie for ninth in the standings.
This season, Butler is picked to finish eighth in the 11-team BIG EAST Conference, one spot behind the Pirates. Strande was named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team.
The Bulldogs enter Sunday's contest with a 10-4 overall record and a 0-1 mark in BIG EAST play. Butler opened BIG EAST play on Dec. 21 with a 66-43 loss at DePaul. They collected some quality victories in the non-conference schedule, including games against Indiana and in overtime at Milwaukee. Butler fell in double-overtime to Wisconsin on Dec. 11.
