Who cares? Results don't matter at Seton Hall.Originally posted by setonball46:
I agree.
Only question why don't we get a bucket than? Not being harsh but that seems fair.
While I agree Georgetown should have let Seton Hall score 2 in order to even things up, Seton Hall did score 2 on its opening possession, so what's the difference? Your last sentence is completely wrong.Originally posted by hallsoccer03:
I angling to assume Georgetown was classless on this. SHU with the. 2 points would have been down 3 with 40+ seconds left and not fouling.
That's correct. And Seton Hall scored 2 points on the possession immediately following the Adam's dunk. You wanted Georgetown to just give them 2. Fine, then it's still Georgetown's ball to start the game over at 2-2, same as what really happened, hence no difference, your down 3 with 41 seconds would not have been correct.Originally posted by hallsoccer03:
I was pretty sure SHU was down 5 with 41 seconds left then fouled ??
This, and that layup Mobley made to open the game was basically uncontested.Originally posted by SPK145:

Add that with playing tough half court defense after the basket .
Intentionally fouling to get Adams out of the game is not playing tough halfcourt defense. On the broadcast, Tim Brando said Georgetown was going to foul to get him out of the game and that's exactly what they did.
Non issue.
And you'll note I already agreed with that sentiment.Originally posted by HallB:
That's not the point. Yes he scored but it was earned. Either way it would have little to no impact on the game but that doesn't mean it wasnt a classless move.
Who knows? No way to know that.Originally posted by hallsoccer03:
So if Georgetown lets SHU go down and a layup in a couple of seconds as opposed to running offense against 100% defense for 30 seconds, do they come back down and hit a 3 like they did? Do you think that the unsportsmanlike play effected the players at all. Got them angry , flustered ?
Who's taking shots at Willard? The original post was talking about a classy gesture, which it was. It was very nice of Willard to do that. Some things are bigger than basketball and he got this one right.Originally posted by phi_pirates:
So a very classy move is followed up by complete bushleague crap from JT3 and now we're using THAT to take shots at willard. Ridiculous.
