C'mon fans

This year for the most part the student section was as bad as I can remember. Except for a few games they gave little juice to a team of fellow students and overachievers. Short of two of the worst teams in Big East history, Georgetown and DePaul you saw this nowhere else.

Sure there were excuses, aren't there always? But those same excuses existed in the past and the students showed.
Hopefully the school can learn from this and create different incentives, idk.

I also think it’s time for the Prudential Center to upgrade a bit. Seats, lighting, etc. The big black curtains seem more obvious there too. Paging Josh Harris. lol.

I get the opponent, weather and student issues, but that still kind of sucks for this surprise season on a Saturday night. And look I wasn’t there either because of family obligations, so not casting blame. But thought it would be better for the seniors especially with all the discounts etc
It was a good crowd considering the absolutely horrendous weather conditions. Everybody got soaking wet walking in. We are dedicated fans. And the people complaining are all the ones who stayed home. Go figure.

what if you have students the first few rows on the sidelines like cameron, oakland, etc?

Wells Fargo makes the Rock look like an embarrassment
as someone who has frequented both, i actually think pru is better to watch a. basketball game. always more juice there when things go well(of course college basketball has more of that juice compared to pro sports)

Wells Fargo itself is trying to go through upgrades, but it's no different than the pru really. that being said they ARE trying to upgrade every facet of it so at least they're trying.

the big difference is that nova fans show up. student section always packed and lower bowl filled. the upper deck is actually more empty than you'd expect but that was just for the shu game i saw.

i haven't been to pru in a few years though so maybe it's going really downhill

Idk man. Me and my buddies were in awe walking through Wells Fargo. How bout the pyrotechnics during the Nova intros? The light schemes during timeouts, intros, and pre game? Meanwhile we have a portable fog machine at one tunnel and 4 blinding white flood lights attached to the big screen. Oh and the big screen at Wells Fargo is awesome too

Nevermind the fact that they have their concessions OPEN and they have an entire Non Alcoholic Athletic Brewing bar area. Meanwhile The Rock has zero NA beer options. THE STONE PONY has multiple NA beer options, like cmon.

wells fargo replaced their big screen shortly after pru did theirs. i think pru was the largest hanging screen for any arena in the country at the time. the WF screen does have fire, and a curve but it's bad viewing if you're at the ends and i spent a lot of times at the ends.

in any case , doesn't mean that pru shouldn't upgrade. i just wonder if Harris cares. WF has sixers, flyers, and nova which draws more like a pro team in the past. Pru has devils and shu, which sometimes i wonder if we even break even. WF is desperately trying to woo the sixers into staying. the sixers ownership group which includes Harris in a capacity wants to build their own so hes no stranger to this.

I’ve always thought that it’s too bright at the Rock. Can’t wait to be back in MSG this week. Sound aside, that’s what the court should LOOK like.

I've noticed as the season has worn on - the last 3-4 home games a lot of students and recent grads are sitting in my section. End zone behind press section. Seems like a lot of non season ticket holders decided to jump on the bandwagon late this season.

I truly believe that the fans brought the energy that set the tone for the Villanova game. The most important game of the year and the SHU fans affected the game.

We get on kadary for not being at his max every game. So being there once in a while is not a good job. Imo. When they show they make it a lot better. I have to think watching your team is fun. I dont get it

I ordered through the brewery originally and tried a reorder recently and it looked like it was discontinued, is that not the case?
If the brewery has discontinued it that doesn't mean stale stock isn't sitting at liquor stores all over the place. I would call Wegmans, Bottle King, etc and see if anyone is sitting on any. It won't be fresh anymore, but neither was the recent supply at the Rock.

Has brewery discontinued it? They still show it on website. Just picked up some at Total Wine in Totowa, says was canned 2/27/24, that’s pretty fresh.

Shows you can order home delivery and also available on tap at brewery. So maybe it is back.

It is NOT discontinued. You can still get it from Magnify Brewery in Fairfield NJ, and in locations they supplied

I have no insight on that, only responding to the individual that commented that it was. Frankly, I didn't think it was and if the can date is 2/27/24, it's absolutely not discontinued.
