Auburn has been the most susceptible of the 1s, it seems. Creighton did exactly what they were supposed to in that first half. Let’s hope it continues.
This. Creighton has a good chance here if it continues to shoot well. Auburn is the "worst" of the 1-seeds, IMO.
Like McDermott. You realize though they had as big of a “bag dropping” reputation as anyone in the Big East pre-NIL, right?
Agreed. Auburn opening up decent lead. Best team in that conference is Florida. Very tough matchup for UConn tomorrow. Florida is my pick to cut down nets. Hope UConn surprises me tomorrow.
Top of that league has been a class above everyone this year. I thought this game was getting out of hand but Creighton is doing enough to not go away.
He’s going to be really hard to replace. Creighton was always known as a soft defensive team until Kalk came along.
Their whole defense revolved around his ability in “drop” coverage, how he intimidated others and how he never ever got in foul trouble.
Auburn may’ve hit more running mid range shots than I’ve seen all year in the BE, lo!
Ya know., the right way. Have his son go to CU for free since he was an employee and then walk on (as the BE all time leading scorer) to allow for another scholarship spot for another starter.

Agreed. But if you think that's all he's done. Lol. Also most on this board were screaming to high heavens when he did that.
That's manipulating the rules to your favor. I have no problem with that. McDermott did something completely legal there within the rules. He didn't write them and he's not in charge of following the spirit of the rule. I would say that is the right way. Nothing illegal about it.
On the other hand, Creighton has been linked to a few scandals buying players. But I'm sure like Self and Pitino, McDermott had no clue these things were happening. LOL
