Darius Adams to UConn

Was awesome as a frosh/soph at manasquan then went prep. 6'5 - Terrific 2g
I tried to post his Instagram announcement but couldn't get it to work. Talks about being a "Jersey tough guard" and how he and Hurley are two Jersey guys so imagine what they could achieve together.

Dan is one hell of a recruiter.

CL82, can you provide any insight to how Hurley handles NIL with recruits and what your approximate budget is? He's excellent at getting all players to embrace their roles within the team construct and obviously a great recruiter.

Wondering how much he offers recruits or if he uses some type of incentive system tied to team and individual accomplishments.

His approach seems to focus on a mix of transfers and prep kids, either immediate impact as well as kids he can retain and develop.

But when you have the pedigree that him and a few other BE coaches do, I think it’s probably easier to retain kids or get them to buy into roles.

I cannot. That stuff is pretty much a trade secret. I do know that he tells them that the only thing that is guaranteed is the opportunity to compete.

Think about Samson Johnson. Hurley said he had to re-recruit him annually. But now he'll likely be the starter on the team.
