I'm curious to get the thoughts of some of our board readers. As some of you may know, I'm a fan of KenPom and the insights it provides into teams. With that being said, there is a disconnect between what I see defensively and our adjusted efficiency measured by KP.
We are only ranked 76th in this important statistic and that just doesn't match up with what I'm seeing, and I think I'm a fairly astute observer. I watch a game more like a coach than as a fan and I have high standards. I think this team is defending very well but it isn't being reflected in the efficiency. My eyes see a top 30-40 defensive team. What do some others think? I know @Bud Boomer is also a big KenPom fan.
