Haven't heard alot of love for him, but I thought last night might have been his best game as a Pirate. He played amazing defense, stayed out of foul trouble, hit his free throws, and got another double double.

I agree. I posted on another post that I thought he had his best game as a Pirate last night. I've seen a lot of love for him on many posts last night.

Don't remember Angel being such a defensive presence as he was last night. And he boarded great, and he got ten or so poihts. I feared Fischer could be a bad matchup...wrong!!!!!

Biggest things for Angel were 5-6 from the line (AM I DREAMING?) and stayed out of foul trouble.

He played great defense last night, but that has been a rarity for him. Im also wondering if refs are going to start getting annoyed over the crying that he does. but that emotion is part of what makes him good.

We will definitely see the progress when he plays Ochefu soon.

I said it last year and again this year... His foul trouble was due to lack of big man help... Now he has that with Sonogo, Nezi, Rodriguez and Gordon. I knew once he got help he would be a better player this year.

Angel is also gonna start hitting that 10 ft jumper. I was nervous for him early on, but not now. He is buckled in.
