DePaul Game a Week from Today

In theory, a game we should win. We will be at home, playing argably the next weakest team in the league. We will have a week to rest and prepare while DePaul has two more games to play (Uconn and at Nova) before facing us.

It's certainly a dark time for the program but If ever there there can be a game we SHOULD win and a game we SHOULD be favored in, this is the one.

There are no Should Wins right now. They obviously could beat DePaul. I actually think they will play a very close game against SJU at The Rock. The energy level will be as high as it could be for that game in the arena. I would not be surprised if it goes down to the wire. Aside from that it will be a Very long year.

We thought we should have beat Monmouth. Turns out that was way wrong.

No reason to expect us to beat any team. But hopefully we do!

HallGuy23 -- I was most depressed watching the Xavier Game having felt that the long break would surely help have the Team "come together" and use the Georgetown come back as a springboard to beat a "so-so" Miller Team. I thought the 5-0 start evidenced my feelings. What followed is still difficult to accept. A 16-0 spurt with no D and watching Xavier lay-ups was not even the worse part.Sha has not put together a Team that plays Defense or even attempts an Offense ( just go to the half court corner and wait to 10 secs before having the shot clock expire following a forced fling).
Just tough to believe that things will change v Holtmann's over -achievers . So I can not say the Hall should win altho Hall may be favored.

It seems so dysfunctional right now idk if they can win a game. Guys not practicing after Sha mentioned how great the practice time would be? A guy who started the prior game told not to travel?

The next 3 are DePaul, at Providence, at Butler. Time is now for any optimist.

DePaul is much improved, those who think they are a push over are sadly mistaken. I think our ceiling is 2 big east wins this year
