Did you stare at the court even during timeouts?
I don't know enough about him to say this would be a loss or net gain, but the fact that he is a great defender would have helped with DG graduating.
He is a Division 1 Mens Basketball player at a school that only has basketball...
I know the admin at SHU move slow, but I would be willing to bet this has already been decided.
I think what you should not ignore is the strong punishment meted out to the swimmers and , depending on what the investigation ultimately shows,if any punishment is warranted it must be consistent with what was applied with other punishment .
Why would we not talk about this? It has a huge impact on next year's team, and is currently happening behind a veil of (necessary) secrecy. This is a fan message board. We want to know the outcome.
The only reason to not talk about this is if:
You know the outcome and he is definitely staying without question.
or
He is definitely leaving and you know we have an incoming experienced guard with skills to replace DG and give IW a blow next season.

Mauricio Branwell was kicked out of school for an incident in the caf in 2002 after the season ended. But he was a freshman spare part on the bench and not expected to be a major contributor going forward.
Don't forget the higher the profile of the athlete the more public and media attention is drawn to the decision that's made and SH has to get this not only right but fairly.

He will be on the team next season, and id bet it has already been decided.
I have to agree with jcalz's assumption. If he was going to be dismissed from the Team and the School, it would have occurred already.
That's actually really good to know. Under the right circumstances, and based on severity, everyone deserves a second chance to learn from mistakes. It's also been quoted on here that the other players think he's got game.
Is it at all possible they are just staying quiet to not have any distractions. I didn't notice if he was there or not last night, but is it all possible to dismiss him without the school commenting on it?
